Attempt to kill spider starts house fire in CA

REDDING, California -- A warning to people with arachnophobia: here's one way you don't want to kill a spider.

Firefighters were called to a home in northern California where someone had used a large torch lighter to fight back against a spider.

Instead, that person lit a bed on fire.

The flames then spread throughout their apartment.

No one was hurt, but the people living there are now displaced all because of a spider.
