Man injured in drive-by shooting outside north Houston gas station

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Witnesses say at least 20 to 30 shots were fired in a wild shootout at a gas station in north Harris County.

The suspect drove past the gas station at Barren Springs and Ella Boulevard and began firing.

One man was shot in the leg and transported to the hospital, but he is expected to survive.

The suspect fled and caused two other cars to crash.

There is no information on the suspect or their motive at this time.
