9-year-old basketball star being scouted by colleges

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- A 9-year-old basketball player in western Pennsylvania is already being scouted by colleges.

Karis Thomas stars on an amateur athletic union basketball team in Pittsburgh.

Her coach says the pint-sized point guard puts in three to five hours a day, six days a week.

Karis says her dream is to one day play at the University of Connecticut.
