Huge iguana nabbed hanging out at a Florida restaurant

STUART, Florida (KTRK) -- Police in Florida have captured what they called a cold-blooded fugitive.

It was an iguana, and a big one at that.

Stuart police had been trying to catch him for a few days, and they finally nabbed the creature.

The iguana was finally caught hanging around a restaurant's outdoor dining area.

Officers snapped a quick photo with the iguana before taking it into custody.

On Twitter, the police called the search an "Iguanahunt" that left officers empty-handed.

They were happy to finally get their guy.

It's not clear where the iguana came from or why he was on the run.
