HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Astros fans couldn't be happier about their team clinching a spot in the ALCS.
The team's slogan this season is "earn it," and they surely did.
This is the first time the Astros are advancing to the League Championship Series since 2005.
Our hometown team made it back to Houston around midnight Tuesday.
A number of fans were waiting to welcome the team back to Minute Maid Park.
Fans and players are now ready to battle it out with whoever wins tomorrow's game between the Yankees and the Indians.
