Mirror Mirror: 5 steps to a chic boho bun

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Messy, boho-style hair is so on-trend, so hair stylist Kelsey Finney and The Upper Hand Salon owner and president Rachel Gower shared their tips to achieve a messy bun. You can do this by pulling back all of your hair, or you can do it half up from ear to ear, which is what I did since my hair is shoulder-length.

1. Spray texturizing spray throughout your hair.
2. Pull your hair back in a ponytail, but don't pull the ponytail all the way through. Keep it in a loop.
3. Pull out some random pieces from the loop.
4. Pin the pieces around the ponytail. You can do any shape you want - a round bun, vertical or horizontal.
5. Finish with hairspray!
