HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A lot has been made of George Springer's bat this season.

The bat, which belongs to Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts, is smaller than most people use.

After trying the new bat, Springer fell in love with it and had a season to remember. He is batting at .283 with 34 home runs.

As for how he got the bat, that's up for debate.
