HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Residents of several northwest Houston homes were startled awake in the middle of the night when a truck slammed into the side of the buildings.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

It happened near Yale Street and Lelay Circle just after midnight Thursday.

Houston police say the driver was going north on North Main Street when he crossed over Yale onto Lelay.

Investigators say the truck crashed through a fence, hit one house and then slammed into two others and a car before finally coming to a stop.
