A frantic male deer dashed into a dress shop in Staten Island, New York causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

The animal was dazed and bleeding after being hit by a car and ran in through an open door.

"I'm looking at the video again now," said Mario Cavuoto, the owner of In Phase Fashions. "The poor guy was really panicked. He was running in circles because he was trapped."

The young buck raced around the store tearing down racks of clothing and getting blood on dozens of dresses.

Animal control officers arrived and tried to subdue the animal, but in the end had to euthanize it.
