Preview: Astros vs. Red Sox on Thursday
At Minute Maid Park, the Astros need the loudest and most excited fans possible Thursday.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Astros are just one day away from game one against the Red Sox in the American League Divisional Series at Minute Maid Park.

When the game begins at 3 p.m., the roof will close and Houston fans know just how loud it can get inside the ballpark.

The Astros are counting on that excitement and energy as a home field advantage.

On Tuesday, the team had a relaxed workout, but today will be a little different.

When you think of the Astros, you think of a young team, but many of these guys were in the playoff run in 2015.

Outfielder George Springer says he's looking forward to the fan reaction come Thursday, just as he did back then.

"It was awesome, standing room only, but there's a lot more seats now that the hill's gone, so that's going to be fun," Springer said.

Second baseman Jose Altuve talked about the maturing of the team over the last few years.

"Now we know what it takes to go out there," Altuve said. "We know how it is to go out there and play in a playoff game. We did it in 2015, and all of us having a little bit more experience, it's going to help us."
