Mattress Firm gives 2,800 mattresses to Harvey victims
Families affected by the floods picked up brand new mattresses at the Houston Furniture Bank today.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston Mattress Firm and Houston Furniture Bank partnered to donate 2,777 mattresses and box springs to families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Families who were pre-selected for the donated items were able to pick-up their furniture today, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Houston Furniture Bank, 8220 Mosley Rd.

"As the greater Houston area gears up to begin recovering and rebuilding their lives after the devastation from the hurricane, Mattress Firm, through Houston Furniture Bank, is striving to support those impacted by providing essential items that may have been destroyed or lost in the rubble."

Others who were impacted by Hurricane Harvey and interested in receiving a mattress or box spring can visit mattressfirm.com to gather more information on how to apply.
