HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- ABC13 and Univision 45 are partnering for our 5th Annual Voter Registration Drive. We want to register everyone who is eligible to vote.

The Harris County Voter Registration Department serves over 2 million registered voters in Harris County, which is the nation's third-largest county. However, that's only half of the estimated 4.5 million people in Harris County.

We are working with our community partners for the largest combined voter registration campaign in our area.

Our community partners are: the Harris County Tax Assessor-Collectors Voter Registrar, Harris County Clerk's Office, Baker Ripley (formerly NCI), Mi Familia Vota, Houston Millennials, HISD, UHD-Student Government Association, League of Women Voters, Ismaeli Jamatkhana and Center, Walk to Voter National/Nonprofit, University of Houston-Main Campus, City of Houston Department of Education, OCA-Greater Houston, NALEO Educational Fund.

On Tuesday, Sept. 26, Univision 45 will host a phone bank in English and Spanish to answer questions about registering to vote. The phone bank is scheduled to take place from 5-7 p.m. Participants can call 1-855-841-4545.

The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector's office will conduct a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar (VDVR) training session at 11 a.m. at HCC West Loop Campus at 5601 West Loop South in Houston. The training will last approximately one hour. It is open to the public.
