The Astros didn't cinch the American League West title last night, but there's plenty of reasons to smile at Minute Maid Park today, puppies!

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Talk about your rally pup!

"Houston Pets Alive" only became a physical shelter after they rescued hundreds of animals during Harvey, but they've been saving animals from euthanasia for years.

Fifty furry friends also participated in costume contest where awards were given out for the funniest costume and most team spirit.

Everyone also went home with an Astros chew toy.
