Houston man sentenced to 30 years for sex trafficking
Antonio Rasheed Benjamin aka "Papi P" pleaded guilty of forcing two young girls to engage in commercial sex after he promised them riches and a lavish lifestyle.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A 22-year-old man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking two underage girls.

Antonio Rasheed Benjamin aka "Papi P" pleaded guilty of forcing two young girls to engage in commercial sex after he promised them riches and a lavish lifestyle.

Benjamin had the girls work as strippers and prostitute for him.

Prosecutors say Benjamin rented hotel rooms and posted ads for the girls on Backpage.com

Child advocate Kathy Griffin says Houston is home to a major sex trafficking problem because of the city's size.

"We don't have enough boots on the ground to cover all these territories, nooks, crannies and different businesses that have camouflaged their trafficking operations," said Griffin.
