HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- If you lost your car in the Harvey floods, you may be shopping around for the best deals. Or maybe you need a break from your current payments.

ABC13 did the legwork for you and found some of the best deals available right now to help you get back on the road.

Ford has a special customer assistance bundle called, "Texas Is Family." The special bundle includes:

  • The same no-haggle, below-invoice price as Ford employees and their families receive
  • No payments until next year, low Ford Credit APR or lease rates and a simple online application process
  • Existing Ford customers who were affected by Hurricane Harvey can apply to have payments deferred for up to two months.

At General Motors, customers affected by Harvey are being offered payment arrangements and waiving related fees.Eligible customers who are replacing a vehicle may qualify for a 90-day deferred first payment.

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac are offering $1,000 in Disaster Relief Assistance to customers in the most heavily impacted areas of Texas and Louisiana through Oct. 2, 2017.

This money can be applied by anyone toward the purchase of a new vehicle, and it can be used in addition to all other retail incentives in the market.

If you are recovering from flood damage and have your car financed by the American Honda finance Corp. the company is offering loan extensions to those in need of that assistance.

Its statement said they "are also significantly curtailing collection activities in the areas, and are working with both our automobile and motorcycle dealerships that are in need of assistance."

Hyundai announced Hyundai Capital America is also offering payment relief solutions to its customers affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Impacted lease and finance customers may receive payment extensions, redirecting billing statements and arranging phone or online payments free of charge.

Also, Hyundai and Genesis are offering a $750 discount on all 2017-2018 models for customers who had a vehicle damaged in the hurricane.
