Part of the road collapses in NE Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It was a scary moment for a woman in northeast Harris County after she said part of a road collapsed after they were rescued from the flood.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said two portions of Garrett Street between Beltway 8 and C.E. King collapsed.

Crews have put up barricades in the meantime to block the area.
