As the Texas Game Wardens prepare for Hurricane Harvey, one little guy didn't want his dad to go.

The wardens shared a photo on Facebook of a young boy, Charlie, hugging his dad, TJ Tweedle, who is a Texas Game Warden.

Charlie's mom, Laurie Ann, took the photo. She said although Charlie is only 2 years old, he understands his dad will be gone for awhile.

"We explained that daddy will be gone for several days," said Laurie Ann. "He has to go work to protect the border several times a year as well so Charlie has seen him leave for several days at a time."

During severe weather, the wardens assist with flooding rescues.

The wardens say that for those who are evacuating, Texas State Parks are open spaces are free of charge to stay in during Hurricane Harvey.
