Tips for packing school lunches

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Making school lunches every day for your kids can end up being an overwhelming task to think outside the PB&J box.

So first things first, come up with a menu.

Change it up by offering a variety of fruits and vegetables, not just carrots.

Think snap peas, green beans, and cucumber.

Sandwiches can be changed up by offering tortilla wraps, crackers, or lettuce wrap options.
