PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- Pasadena police are searching for a suspect who reportedly fired shots into the air, prompting a lockdown at two Pasadena ISD schools.

Police say there are reports of four to five shots fired on Crenshaw at Preston, not far from Pasadena Memorial High School. Officers are out in the wooded area near the school looking for the male suspect.

Pasadena ISD cautioned parents that the campuses of Lomax Middle School and Pasadena Memorial High School were both on lockdown.

The school district posted on Facebook stating, "All students are safe and will be released as soon as the City of Pasadena Police gives the all clear."

No injuries have been reported.

The suspect has not yet been found.
