2 missing 13-year-olds may be driving car, mom says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Harris County mom says she hasn't heard from her 13-year-old son since he went missing on Sunday, and he and another missing teen may have the use of a car.

According to Toni Ogden, her son Jeremy went missing with his girlfriend, who is also 13.

She believes the teens are using his sister's car. They haven't been on social media or responding to text messages since they were gone.

Ogden told ABC13 she is worried for her son's safety because he is distraught over his older brother's suicide at Ft. Hood last month.

An Amber Alert hasn't been issued since deputies are treating it as a runaway case, according to the mom.
