Houston dog found shot recovers and finds furever home

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A happy ending follows a horrible case of animal abuse.

Someone found the dog named Destiny wandering in an oil refinery with two large open wounds on her sides.

She was rushed to the Houston SPCA, where the vets say she was likely shot.

Luckily her organs were not hit, and she was able to make a full recovery.

Ten days after her rescue, she found her forever family.
