HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Big Brothers Big Sisters regional board member Darrell Morris discusses an effort to recruit more African American men to serve as Big Brothers. The innovative program targets barbershops and churches for the outreach strategy.

Locally, more than 400 African American boys are on the waiting list for a Big Brother.
