HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police said a man was shot five times at a southwest Houston apartment complex overnight and survived his wounds.

The man was found bleeding outside of his apartment on Charleston Park Drive just off Main Street at around 1 a.m.

The shooting victim, who police identified as 23-year-old Dustin Bradford, was sent to the hospital where he underwent surgery for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were gone when officers arrived.

Police urged anyone with information on the case to contact the Major Assaults Unit at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
