Dekaney athlete infected by staph shares story of resilience

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Dekaney High School athlete Bryce Cruz contracted a staph infection and was eventually confined to a wheelchair. But instead of becoming a victim of circumstance, Cruz took up wheelchair basketball and earned an athletic scholarship to University of Texas-Arlington.
