HPD: 2 people dead after drive-by shooting in Third Ward

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two people are dead after a drive-by shooting Tuesday afternoon in Houston's Third Ward, police said.

Investigators arrived on the scene in the 2600 block of Winbern Street just before 5 p.m. According to police, one person was pronounced dead at the scene and another died at the hospital.

No other details have been released.
