1 person dead after crash involving motorcycle in Fifth Ward

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- At least one person is dead after an accident involving a motorcycle in the Fifth Ward.

According to investigators, a driver in a black vehicle was attempting to make a turn when it collided with the motorcyclist on Lockwood and Nichols.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people inside a second vehicle were taken a nearby hospital.
