Caught on camera: Toddler flies out of SUV

LAREDO, Texas (KTRK) -- It's a scene that will make every parent's heart stop.

A 1-year-old toddler was seen flying out of a sport-utility vehicle on a busy road in Laredo, Texas.

Drivers nearby saw what happened and rushed in to see if the boy was OK. He was treated for cuts and bruises.

The boy's mother was cited for having an unrestrained child seat.

There was no word if other charges will be filed.
