Deer Park baseball team returning to state baseball tournament

DEER PARK, Texas (KTRK) -- For the first time since Andy Petitte was on the mound at Deer Park, the Deer are headed back to the state baseball tournament.

In a rebuilding year, Deer Park has had a lot of young players step up.

The Deer will take on Southlake Carroll in Friday's semi-final game in Round Rock.
