2 teens in serious condition after violent crash
A violent crash injured two teens in NE Harris County overnight

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Two teens are in serious condition after surviving a very bad crash in northeast Harris County.

It's a miracle they survived when you actually see the wreckage from the accident.

The two teens were in a late model GMC truck when the driver, an 18-year-old male, crashed underneath the big rig.

You can see the cabin of that truck was flattened.

Investigators said the driver of the truck and his 17-year-old passenger were going fast down the 7500 block of Decker in northeast Harris County when an 18-wheeler pulled out of a private business.

The driver apparently didn't see the big rig and skid right under it.

Firefighters had to cut those two teens out of the truck. Both were flown by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Again, this morning both teens are listed in serious condition. Their names have not been released to the media.
