Police: Child expected to survive shooting in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are investigating after a child was shot inside a home in southeast Houston.

Police said the child was shot in the neck area at the home on Saint Lo Road.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.

Authorities have not released any details behind the shooting.
