Dogs banned at Evelyn's Park in Bellaire

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A policy at one of Bellaire's newest outdoor jewels is causing a stir for pet lovers.

Dogs are not allowed at Evelyn's Park.

"It's not that it is a bad rule. I think that there were a few people who didn't pick up after their dogs," Tandy Harris said. "It screwed it up for the rest of us."

Violators could face a $500 fine.
