Details on the City of Houston's "Hire Houston Youth" summer jobs program. The goal of the program is to provide summer employment for 5,000 Houston teens. Juliet Stipeche, Houston Director of Education discusses several upcoming "On the Spot Hiring" events scheduled across the Houston area. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the participation of American teenagers in the workforce is at a historic low.
