Former investigator sentenced after selling stolen comics
A former investigator has sentenced to 5 years probation for selling stolen comic books.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A former county investigator who pleaded guilty for selling stolen rare comic books in and outside of the state, finally learns his fate.

Harris County District Attorney investigator Lonnie Blevins admitted to selling stolen comics at trade shows in Texas and Illinois.

A federal judge sentenced Blevins to five years of probation and a $157,000 repayment to the dealers who purchased the stolen merchandise.

Blevin's ex-partner, another former investigator, Dustin Deutsch also received a sentencing after Blevin testified against him.

Deutsch has been convicted of theft by a public servant and was sentenced five years in prison.
