Close to 100,000 doses of Kush were seized during the nearly six month operation, Ogg said. The drugs have a street value of $2.5 million, according to Acevedo.

Mayor Turner said the bust was the largest to date.

In June, he announced an aggressive campaign to battle the synthetic drug and to stop the spreading across Houston.
