We find out why from JoAnne Musick, Chief of the Harris County District Attorney's Office's newly created Sex Crimes Unit and Dr. Rebecca Pfeffer, a University of Houston-Downtown assistant professor of Criminal Justice. Dr. Pfeffer has done extensive research on human trafficking and has shared her findings with the Houston Police Department and other anti-trafficking organizations. Musick's office recently charged a Houston man under a tough new anti-trafficking law that could land him prison for the rest of his life.
