HOUSTON --Segment 1 - Human trafficking is a growing crime in the Houston area. Experts say it affects mostly women and girls, but boys are also targeted. 26-percent of victims are children who are forced into it through fake promises and non-existent job offers. The Houston Chapter of the Links, Inc. and the Houston Area Urban League are joining forces to raise awareness about this disturbing federal crime with a community discussion on the subject on April 15th at HAUL headquarters.
