Social media reacts to VP Pence not dining alone with women

WASHINGTON D.C. (KTRK) -- Social media lit up this week after the Washington Post published a profile of the wife of Vice President Mike Pence.

In the profile, the Post mentions a 2002 interview that Pence did with The Hill where he said he never eats alone with women other than his wife. Pence went on to explain that he won't attend events with alcohol unless his wife, Karen Pence, is by his side.

Some of those in the Pence's circle say their closeness comes from their devout beliefs in Christianity.

People on both sides took to Twitter to share their opinions.
