Video captures 2 couples fighting in road rage incident

CHULA VISTA, California -- Two couples were caught on camera fighting in the middle of a street during a road rage incident in Chula Vista, California.

The video captured two couples emerging from their cars and confronting each other Monday afternoon.

After an exchange of words, fists flew as the men took their fight to the ground, and a woman grabbed the other woman by her hair and threw her to the ground.

At one point, a woman can be seen kicking the other woman in the face.

An off-duty police officer showed up and brought the fight to an end. The woman who was kicked in the face was the only person to suffer injuries during the melee.

Officials said everyone involved in the fight declined to press charges.

Police said motorists should avoid road rage at all costs. They recommend getting out of the way of angry drivers, and if necessary, call 911.
