HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The man accused of abandoning his 6-year-old son to visit an adult bookstore in Houston is due in court today.
Darnell Washington is facing felony charges of endangering a child.
The boy was found sitting inside a truck outside a tattoo parlor March 1.
Witnesses said the boy was sitting there for several hours before they realized he was alone.
Charging documents claim Washington left the child without food, water, or supervision, to visit an adult bookstore.
