4-year-old injured in drive-by shooting in southwest Houston, Pooja Lodhia reports.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A 4-year-old boy injured in a shooting in southwest Houston is now out of the hospital.

Houston police say a suspect walked into the Mainbridge Apartments, fired several shots, and ran away around 11:15 p.m. Monday.

A mother, the 4-year-old boy, and 8-month-old baby were all inside their apartment when the shooting happened.

The 4-year-old was hit by glass when a bullet hit a sliding glass door.
