Samsung to sell Note 7s returned over explosion fears
Samsung has a plan for all those Note 7 phones that were returned last year

Samsung is planning to sell refurbished versions of its now infamous Galaxy Note7 smartphone.

The Note 7 was permanently scrapped last year after faulty batteries caused several of them to explode.

Galaxy Note 7 explosions are caused by bad battery design.

Samsung and independent investigators found no other problems with the phones.

Now the company says it plans to recycle and sell all the devices that were returned to the company.

The plan was announced Monday, but Samsung offered no other details.
