HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are looking for whoever stole two trailers from a local charity that offers equestrian therapy to disabled kids and adults.

Dream Catcher Stables has been around for 17 years.

On March 23, board members say thieves cut through the front gate and stole the trailers. Replacing them will cost about $20,000.

The charity's entire yearly budget is about $32,000.

"I don't understand," said treasurer Lynne Trumper. "You look around and it's obvious we aren't a real lucrative organization."

"Just bring it back," said Dianne Orsot, who brings her granddaughter to the stables to interact with the horses. "The children are the ones who are going to suffer."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department.
