Costco to launch premium delivery service
Costco is launching a $99 premium delivery service that will soon expand to 50 cities across the nation.

TAMPA, Florida (KTRK) -- You'll soon be able to get your Costco groceries delivered straight to your door. The big box retailer is teaming up with a delivery service called Shipt to send purchases straight to customers' homes.

Much like the Amazon Prime model, Costco grocery delivery will cost an additional $99 per year for unlimited service. Non-Costco members are also able to book Shipt deliveries.

The service does not include delivery of apparel, furniture or electronics.

At launch, delivery will only be available in Tampa, Florida, but Costco and Shipt expect to expand the service to 50 cities across the nation by the end of the year.
