Man to enter plea in Spring neighbor's death
Last time we saw Hector Campos in court, things got very tense.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man accused of gunning down his neighbor in their front yard in Spring is expected back in court this morning.

Hector Campos will enter a formal plea, according to his attorneys.

All along, Campos has said this killing was in self defense, but the shooting victim's family has been vocal to the media, saying Ana Weed wasn't a threat to anyone.

Spring woman's shooting death: Self-defense or retaliation?

Was the fatal shooting of a Spring woman self defense or retaliation? Both sides speak out.

The last court appearance was a heated one.

Campos, who is out on bond, was seen asking the victim's family where his daughter was. Sheriff's deputies walked over to break up the argument.

In late January, Campos shot and killed Ana Weed outside of his Spring home.

The aftermath was all caught on camera.

Weed's husband was seen on his knees trying to help his dying wife. Meantime, a neighbor held Campos at gunpoint until police arrived.

Campos's attorney said before the shooting that Ana Weed assaulted Hector Campos with a roll of tape.

But the feud between these neighbors may run deeper than that.

The attorney for the Weed family says Ana helped Campos's ex-wife leave him and leave the country with their daughter, something they say Campos was upset about.
