Driver plows car through McDonald's in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities are trying to figure out what may have caused a driver to plow through a McDonald's restaurant in southwest Houston.

Houston police were called to the fast food restaurant at 8520 Bissonnet around noon.

In video recorded by an eyewitness, the gold SUV can be seen through part of the building.

No injuries were reported.
