HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Four men are on the run after robbing a McDonald's drive-thru window in north Houston. Three of the four jumped through the window, then beat and robbed employees, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

It happened on Wednesday, March 8 around 12:45 a.m. at the McDonalds in the 21300 block of the North Freeway.

Video released by the Harris County Sheriff's Office shows a gray four-door sedan pulls up, orders, then moves to the window.

As the employee opens the window, three other men rush the window and force their way inside.

One of the robbers hits an employee with a gun, then demands cash from the drawers.

The three men inside then climb back out of the window and run to the original car that placed the order, the sheriff's office said.
