Deputies find abandoned puppies and adopt them

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Fort Bend County deputy was in the right place at the right time for a special rescue.

Early Monday morning Deputy D. Lytton was driving down Williams Way Boulevard when he spotted two small puppies huddled on the side of the road.

The puppies didn't have collars and were alone.

Deputy Lytton picked them up and met up with his partner, Deputy M. Anciso.

It must have been love at first sight because the two agreed to adopt the dogs!

Since the sheriff's office posted the photos on their Facebook page the deputies have received dozens of comments praising their decision.
