Local restaurateurs tickle taste buds at Katy Taste Fest

KATY, TX (KTRK) -- There was truly something for everybody at the Katy Taste Fest event, which showcased the diversity and flavor of Katy.

From sliders at Sammy's Sports Grill to tantalizing samosas food from Chowpatty Express and mouthwatering cake from Whiskey Cake and others, local chefs put their best food forward to celebrate the vibrant restaurant scene.

Proceeds from the event, which was held at the Villagio Town Center, benefited several local charities, including Armor of Hope, Krause Children's Center, and Katy Cares.
