Stretch your dollar: Reboot your boots
If you are thinking you can't afford a pair of new boots, how about renewing an old pair?

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Get your boots ready, it's rodeo time! If you are thinking you can't afford a pair of new boots, how about renewing an old pair? With some supplies, you can rework your old boots for less than $10.

ABC13 teamed up with the ladies from TooCheapBlondes.com.

Instead of making a big investment, they found several pairs of boots at The Family Thrift Outlet. Each pair costs only $2. But the boots are in need of some tender loving care.

For some easy fixes, they say discover shoe polish and shoe shine again. If your boots are in good shape, embellish them by creating a "boot sleeve" with ribbon, a faux flower and a glue gun.

If you don't feel like working that hard, try an old necklace and clasp it around your boot.

If you want to change the whole look, grab a can of spray paint. Pippa Williams simply spray painted a couple boots to change the whole look. And finally, for the crafty, you can use heavy fabric and recover your boots to get that Boho chic look.
