West U lifts shelter-in-place after gas leak repairs

WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TX (KTRK) -- Residents have been given the all-clear after a major gas leak in West University Place Thursday afternoon.

Contractors continue to make repairs on a two-inch pipe on West College Street.

Residents on W. College and the 38-3900 block of Ruskin were asked to shelter-in-place, and those south of University Boulevard and east of Weslayan were also asked to remain inside.
